(3) Plan how to recruit and interact with design research participants

Throughout the process, we are planning to recruit and interact with design research participants. There are two ways we are considering, and the details are listed below.

Demo game distribution

Game Demos and Beta Testing: We are planning to offer a demo or beta version of our game to the targeted audience to try out before its official release. At the last scene of our Demo game, we are going to receive feedbacks from the users. This can not only help us with developing the game, but also generate buzz and excitement around the game and give players a taste of what's to come.

Gaming Forums and Communities: There are multiple game communities, especially indie game communities willing to play and make indie games. We are planning to reach out to those forums/communities and engage with members of these communities, share updates on your game's development, and answer questions to build buzz and interest around our game.
We are also going to distribute our games to children/family major and social welfare major students in our school. Through the process, we will be able to get more ideas and feedback regarding the sensitivity of our game. -
PC rooms (PC방): We are planning to distribute our games through PC rooms in Sinchon first. About one-third of the population in 서대문구 is 2030 and since there are multiple universities, we will try to contact with PC rooms in Sinchon and encourage potential users to play it.

Visual promotion

Social Media Advertising: Majority of the 2030 population use social media such as Instagram, TikTok etc. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram allow users to create targeted ads that reach people based on various categories such as age, gender, and among those social medias, we are planning to use mainly Instagram, which has the highest market share, to target our audience. Since this game is storyline-based, we are planning to create additional contents related to our game that will resonate with the target audience and upload it on our instagram. This could include blog posts, trailer videos, and social media posts that provide insight into the game's development process, behind-the-scenes content, and other relevant topics.

Influencer Marketing: At the final steps of our process, we are planning to partner with influencers who have a following within our target demographic. These influencers can help promote our game through social media channels and videos.
